About Amanda
For a long time, I was really good at holding things together. I built a solid career, showed up for everyone around me, and did what was expected. From the outside, it all looked fine. On the inside, I was slowly losing touch with myself. There was a season when I stepped away from my career—not because I lacked ambition, but because life demanded something different of me. And then, after 22 years of marriage, I went through a divorce. Around the same time, I also left a work situation that had become unhealthy. Letting go of both a toxic marriage and a toxic boss forced me to get honest in ways I hadn’t before. It asked me to stop enduring and start choosing. Rebuilding my career wasn’t about climbing back to where I had been. It was about rebuilding me. I had to relearn how to trust myself, listen to my own voice, and decide what I wanted my life to feel like—not just what it looked like on paper. These days, I’m grounded by the simple things. Being outside. Traveling. Paddle boarding. Golfing. Taking photos—not to get the perfect shot, but to notice what I usually rush past. Photography has become a reminder to slow down and see what’s already there. Time with my family, friends, and my pets keeps me rooted. They remind me that connection matters more than achievement, and that a good life isn’t built by pushing harder, but by living more intentionally. I don’t believe in having it all figured out. I believe in paying attention, asking honest questions, and giving yourself permission to build a life that actually fits.
Why do I coach?
I learned the hard way that walking through change alone makes everything heavier. For a long time—both personally and professionally—I tried to figure things out on my own. I told myself I should be able to handle it, push through it, make the “right” decision and keep moving. What I didn’t realize at the time was how much energy I was spending just surviving the change instead of actually moving forward. Everything began to shift when I finally asked for support. When I let other people in—especially a coach—I stopped spinning. I gained clarity faster. I made decisions that actually aligned with who I am, not who I thought I should be. Most importantly, I reconnected with myself. I remembered who she was. And from that place, my path forward became clearer and more grounded. That experience is why I coach. I’m deeply passionate about supporting women leaders as they step into exceptional leadership and life—leadership that is rooted in self-trust, alignment, and choice, not exhaustion or over-adaptation. I work with women who are capable, accomplished, and often carrying a lot—yet feel disconnected from themselves or uncertain about what’s next. I’m also passionate about helping leaders shift away from purely directive leadership and into empowered leadership. A coaching mindset changes how leaders show up—with curiosity instead of control, with trust instead of micromanagement, with questions instead of answers. It creates space for people to think, grow, and take ownership—and it changes cultures from the inside out. I coach because I’ve experienced what becomes possible when you don’t have to walk alone—when someone is there to help you see yourself clearly, make aligned choices, and move forward with confidence. That kind of support doesn’t just change careers. It changes lives.
