About Alice
I've spent 10+ years as a product designer, working across Microsoft (Fabric), Silo, Boulevard, Toast, and Mindbody, on everything from enterprise data tools to consumer scheduling products. These days I run my own design consultancy, working with early-stage teams as both a hands-on designer and a strategic partner. I like staying close to the actual product, not just the process around it. If you're trying to get your portfolio noticed, prep for an interview, figure out your next career move, or think through how to bring AI into your design process, I'd love to help.
Why do I coach?
Earlier in my career, I had managers and more established designers who took the time to mentor me, not just teach me craft, but help shape who I am as a designer and a person. That kind of guidance is a big part of why I am where I am today. The hardest part of my own growth wasn't learning the craft itself. It was growing into real confidence, in my judgment, in my point of view, and eventually into leadership. Mentorship has been a thread throughout my career since, whether at the companies I've worked at, more formally in design community networks, or as a professional design coach. There's something special about helping others at different stages of their product design career, and the connections that come from it. I love that part of the work, and it's why I coach now.
