About Alberto
I didn’t start in MBB. I spent almost a decade in other firms, learning by doing and building a real consulting toolkit. When I finally applied to McKinsey, I only practiced three cases — and walked out of the final interview with the offer in hand. Not because I played the game better, but because I already thought and performed like a consultant. I went on to spend 13+ years in consulting, working at McKinsey, PwC, and Accenture, eventually becoming an Associate Partner. I interviewed and hired hundreds of candidates — but what I valued most was developing talent from the inside: helping people grow fast, raise their standard, and perform under pressure. Now I coach ambitious candidates to do the same. My style is structured, direct, and focused on transformation — the kind that builds real confidence, not dependency. Whether you’re just starting or preparing for final rounds, I’ll help you train like someone who already belongs. Outside of coaching, I’m into tennis, photography, and breaking down complex problems — which probably explains why I love this work so much.
Why do I coach?
Because I’ve seen too many high-potential people fall short — not because they weren’t good enough, but because they didn’t know how to show it when it mattered. As an Associate Partner at McKinsey, I rejected brilliant candidates who just needed sharper thinking, clearer communication, or more confidence under pressure. Many of them could have made great consultants. That stuck with me. Coaching is my way of switching sides. I don’t give advice. I train people to operate like real consultants — with the structure, standard, and mindset firms are actually hiring for. What drives me is helping someone close that gap — between who they are and how they show up — and watching them walk out of the final round with the offer in hand, knowing they earned it. That never gets old.
