Most executive coaches fall into one of two categories: people with real operating experience but no formal coaching training, or trained coaches who've never actually run anything at stake. I'm the rare combination of both. I spent eight-plus years at Boston Consulting Group, the last two and a half as Partner, advising Fortune 500 and private equity leadership teams through their highest-stakes strategic and operational decisions. Before that, I earned a PhD in semiconductor materials from Oak Ridge National Laboratory and was valedictorian of my engineering class at the University of Lagos, the top result at the university in two decades. That background isn't incidental to how I coach, it's why I can sit with a real business or career decision and actually understand the stakes, not just facilitate a conversation about them. Alongside that work, I built a genuine coaching practice, recognized as BCG's L&D Coach of the Year for the depth of my one-on-one work with senior executives, peers, and teams. I bring the same rigor I use advising boards to your own decisions, structured frameworks, honest pressure-testing, and real accountability, not just supportive listening.
