About Aditya

I am a medical school student at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Biomedical Engineering and Math graduate from Harvard. Growing up in a small town in South Dakota, I attended a high school with limited access to advanced STEM courses and research opportunities. When I arrived at Harvard, I initially felt behind many of my classmates. Learning how to seek mentorship, build better study systems, and create opportunities for myself shaped both my academic journey and the way I now support students. My background spans biomedical engineering, health communication, nonprofit leadership, and clinical AI research. I co-founded the Health Fluency Project, which has delivered more than 100 health-education workshops and reached thousands of learners. I've tutored extensively for over 5 years, from teaching debate to high school students to peer tutoring course material at Harvard. My coaching style is structured, honest, direct, and encouraging. I want to make sure that students can develop the skills to navigate uncertainty and challenges independently, beyond just the curriculum.

Why do I coach?

Coaching matters to me because mentorship changed the direction of my own life. Coming from a school with fewer academic resources, I often did not know which opportunities existed or how to pursue them—it's certain individuals in my life I look back on that I can thank for providing me with invaluable guidance growing up. I coach because I want to provide that same guidance to others. I especially enjoy helping students who are motivated but feel overwhelmed, behind, or unsure where to begin. My goal is not simply to tell students what to do, but to help them understand their strengths, make thoughtful decisions, and build a path that feels both ambitious and authentic!
