About Achint

hi there! I am an incoming consultant at Bain and Company, having just completed my MBA at MIT Sloan in May of 2026. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri, where I grew up around a family of doctors, but with both my parents owning private practices I wanted to learn more about the business side of healthcare. So, I studied economics and finance at Washington University in St. Louis, and upon graduating I began working for ZS Associates in their medtech consulting practice. I spent 2 years here, then transitioned to Dorilton Capital where I oversaw the strategy and operations work for their healthcare portfolio company. During my time at Dorilton, I realized that while I appreciated my knowledge in healthcare strategy and would use it when the time came to help my parents transition to retirement, I would only feel fulfilled in a career where I could make an impact to the world around me, and based on the articles I read (e.g., Heatmap News) and the opportunities I pursued on the side (e.g., Net Impact Sustainable Cities competition, 2023), I believed this would be in the climate and sustainability space. I applied to MBA programs in 2023, and fortunately got admitted to my top choice of MIT Sloan, where I have completed my Sustainability Certificate and done a number of in-semester climate strategy internships.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I am the product of invested and supportive coaching myself. Whether it was the college admissions process, recruitment out of my undergraduate program, volunteer opportunities I applied for, or the MBA itself, I have had so many mentors who helped create the foundation for my journey today. I hope to pay their actions forward, and share the knowledge I have built over years of experience to those who most need it. Given the MBA admissions journey was my most recent experience, I feel I can benefit those who are embarking on that journey the most, and I want to make sure they feel equipped to handle a rigorous process through and through.
