Hi! I’m Abhi, a graduate of the University of Virginia, where I studied Actuarial Financial Statistics and Economics. As a student, I was admitted to multiple Top 25 universities, including the University of California, Berkeley, the University of California, Los Angeles, and Emory University, before ultimately choosing UVA. Going through a competitive admissions cycle myself gave me firsthand insight into how confusing and stressful the process can feel, and what truly makes an application stand out beyond just grades and test scores. Since then, I’ve made mentorship a consistent part of my life. I’ve coached numerous students through their college applications, including several who have since been admitted to UVA and other top programs. My approach is practical, honest, and highly personalized. I help students clarify their stories, strategically position their extracurriculars, craft compelling essays, and build the confidence to present their best selves. My goal is simple: help you stand out authentically and land at a school where you’ll truly thrive.

About Abhi

Hi, I’m Abhi! I graduated from the University of Virginia, where I studied Statistics and Economics, and went on to build my career in investment banking at Wells Fargo and private equity at Rockpoint. Today, I’m also a founder building a real estate investment analytics platform. Throughout my career, mentorship has always been core to what I do. I’ve interviewed hundreds of candidates, coached students through college and finance recruiting, and helped many land top admissions and job offers. I love helping ambitious people turn their experiences into a clear, confident story and navigate competitive processes with strategy, not guesswork. My coaching style is honest, practical, and highly personalized. I’m here to help you stand out and reach goals that once felt out of reach.

Why do I coach?

Coaching matters to me because I know how different outcomes look with the right guidance and without it. Breaking into banking, private equity, and top programs often feels like an unwritten game. There are rules no one explains, small positioning choices that matter a lot, and a huge confidence gap that holds talented people back. Early in my career, I had to learn much of that through trial and error. Later, when I started interviewing candidates and mentoring others, I realized something: many incredibly capable people were getting passed over simply because they didn’t know how to tell their story or navigate the process strategically. I want my clients to have the playbook I wish I had earlier. Someone honest, tactical, and fully in their corner. Watching someone go from “I don’t think I’m qualified” to landing an offer or admission they’re proud of is still one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
