Applying to occupational therapy programs involves many moving parts, and having clear guidance can make the process feel far more manageable. I recently completed the OT application process and will be starting a master’s degree and post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy at Columbia University this fall. I independently handled every step, from researching programs and preparing application materials to interviews, prerequisites, and financial aid, and I’ve spent extensive time shadowing occupational therapists across diverse settings.
