Big thanks to Dione for helping me through the MBA admissions process! Dione came recommended to me through a friend. Dione is very knowledgeable about the admissions process and was helpful in giving suggestions on how I could take my different experiences and tie them together to create a more complete picture of myself as an applicant. I appreciate Dione’s attention to detail and commitment to helping me put my best foot forward. I knew very little about the MBA application process before applying, and Dione was very proactive in making sure that I didn’t miss out on any opportunities to add more dimension to my application. With Dione’s help, I was able to get into my top choice school. Thank you, Dione!

Dione was able to quickly understand my background, my story, and my future goals in order to help me craft a compelling application. She was incredible to brainstorm with and was always available to run through ideas or to answer my (many) questions. She helped me edit all of my essays up until I felt they were truly exceptional, and she was fantastic as keeping these concise, to the point, but still genuine and authentic. I was truly impressed with her work and extremely confident with my applications. In addition, I’d like to add that Dione was genuinely so kind and it really felt like she was on my side in this process. I had lots of ups and downs while applying (personally and professionally!) and Dione continued to be there to cheer me on and push me forward. I ultimately got accepted to my dream school and cannot recommend Dione enough!

Everyone can imagine that mastering the GMAT requires hard work, persistence, and ambition. However, thinking flexibly is a skill that is understated. Josh propelled my GMAT score to over 700 by guiding my thought process towards asking the right questions to understand the key takeaways from each GMAT problem. His patience and understanding of complex ideas and different learning styles drove my GMAT success. He had a unique way of challenging my thinking to set up a new framework for attacking problems. He empowers students by providing confidence in attacking the test. Ultimately, Josh helped me achieve my goal of going to Chicago Booth. The time we spent together was more than just as student and mentor, and I believe that we will absolutely be in touch post-GMAT and post-business school.

Emily was a true partner who genuinely believed in me, wanted me to succeed, and ensured that I was putting my best foot forward. I cannot emphasize enough how much Emily helped, both technically with the application, and emotionally as a coach. From day one, I could tell that Emily was genuinely excited about me as a person because she truly believed that I had the experiences and perspectives to craft a powerful application. At the same time, she was practical and honest: she understands the MBA application enough to be critical of every piece of the application in order to improve it. Some of my initial essay ideas were awful, and she was direct with her feedback. This perfect balance between believing in the outcome and remaining critical of each output was what made Emily an invaluable partner for this process. From the beginning, Emily got to know me holistically: my experiences, background, strengths, weaknesses, interests, and goals. She drafted a comprehensive strategy document, which helped so much for writing the packets to my recommenders explaining my motives for the MBA. I was also in a situation where I couldn't get a recommendation from my current manager, so Emily helped me navigate that messaging and strategize the people to select for the recommendation to best cover my strengths and what admissions would want to know. My resume went through a thorough makeover with Emily, and her feedback on the essays were so insightful. She has an impeccable intuition for identifying what the essays are missing and being able to articulate them in a way that helps me act on that feedback. While she knew exactly what the story needed from a bird's eye view, she could also easily jump into the details. She was so meticulous, culling out the smallest errors here and there, and always looking to make sentences and paragraphs flow more clearly and effortlessly. She never missed a detail. She also went above and beyond many times. For example, she looked up the classes that I mentioned in my essay and pointed out that one of the names was wrong. Because I was applying to the program from which she graduated, she also forwarded me information on the school and articles about classmates who made the career transitions that I hoped to make. When I procrastinated several weeks on my essays, Emily was there every day, reading and rereading through my revisions during crunch time. The application process is stressful, and I doubted myself many times, but Emily was always there to pull me out of my head and push me forward. Even after I had received my acceptance letter, Emily gave me thoughtful advice for the MBA program itself. I'm honestly not surprised because, after working with her, I've gathered that she is just that type of person: she will always help where she can and wants to see her clients succeed, whether it be in the MBA application or beyond. I couldn't have imagined this application process without Emily because she is truly an expert at what she does. If you are lucky enough to work with Emily, you will definitely be in the best of hands.

I worked with Lindsay for one MBA application using her comprehensive support package and I couldn't recommend her enough. She was extremely responsive, patient, and kind throughout the process. She was such a pleasure to work with because it was evident that she genuinely cared - she really took the time to learn about me in detail which enabled me to refine my goals and craft the best essays possible. She also provided useful insights regarding waitlist strategy and interview prep. Lastly, she was an invaluable support system as I anxiously awaited a decision. I definitely wouldn't have been admitted to my top choice school without her guidance.

Let me begin by saying that when I kicked off my MBA applications journey, I was double-minded on whether I needed a consultant. I got referred to Pamela through a friend and decided to work with her. Fast forward 4 months later and an acceptance letter from my top pick (Columbia Business School), I can confidently say that this would not have been possible without Pamela’s help and support. The best way to describe her style is genuine. Throughout the application process, she provided incredibly candid feedback on everything from my content to communication style. When she says something is “not good”, it’s because she has her clients’ best interests in mind — and I truly appreciated that. I also very much appreciated that she was always open to getting on the phone with me if I needed further clarification on comments or wanted to brainstorm some ideas. She is super-efficient and provides quick turnarounds. All in all, now that I am at the end of the tunnel, I can say with the benefit of hindsight that I understand the value an MBA consultant can provide. That being said, I am sure that “value” will only be unlocked if you pick the right consultant, and I am very happy that I did exactly that.

Pamela's thoughtful and personal approach helped me sculpt my application into an acceptance at my top MBA choice - Tuck! Her no-nonsense approach kept me on track and laser-focused on reaching my goals. Pamela is extremely detail oriented, providing invaluable feedback on all aspects of the MBA application process. She helped me determine which schools I should apply to, how to best present myself, and prepared me for interviews. Pamela was my key to success during this terribly difficult application season. I could not have done it without her!

When I started working with Pamela, I had no idea what I wanted to do with an MBA and she was instrumental in getting me focused on specific target areas that made sense for me. I got into my top choice - NYU - and I would not have been able to do that without Pamela's expertise and extreme attention to detail.

Coming from a more nontraditional background, I was skeptical of admissions consultants and whether they’d be able to help me showcase my experiences and articulate my unique social impact career vision. I thought I’d be lucky to get into a school or two. Needless to say, Pamela was the perfect person to work with during this crazy competitive admissions cycle — I ended up getting into multiple top 15 schools with massive scholarships!! After deliberating between my top choices – Berkeley Haas and Yale SOM – I plan to attend Yale SOM in the fall. You should partner with Pamela for your MBA apps because she’s: 1) A GREAT listener: Obviously this is fantastic for when you’re developing a narrative, but Pamela pays attention to the smallest of details in your profile and helps you tie them into your essays to stand out. She encouraged me to incorporate unique parts of my background I had dismissed (e.g. becoming a dancer in college). On my admit calls, schools specifically noted that they appreciated that I chose to write about these things in my essays. 2) Highly efficient and thorough: Pamela provides quick turnarounds but does NOT skimp on quality. Whether it’s reviewing your first draft or your sixth draft, she provides invaluable feedback and is truly invested in taking your work to the next level. 3) Genuinely direct: Pamela wants you to shine. This means she will not hesitate to tell you if something is weaker and needs work — which I love! Let’s be real, none of us have time to beat around the bush when we’re working on tons of essay drafts. You need someone to give you clarity. 4) A true supporter: Pamela 100% believes in your candidacy and is invested in you. She has gone above and beyond for me throughout the process and gave me the confidence to apply for schools that I thought were reaches. Right now, as I deliberate between offers, she’s giving me great advice and guidance, even though her work is technically done. When I reflect on the admissions process, I know that the months I dedicated to narrative development would not have gone as smoothly without involving Pamela. She encouraged me to be myself and allowed me to highlight and sharpen unique aspects of my candidacy. Ultimately, that’s what put me over the top in this extremely competitive admissions cycle. 11/10, would highly recommend 🙂

Pamela was instrumental in helping me get accepted during this competitive year – if you are considering getting an MBA consultant I would 100% recommend Pamela!! Pamela truly enjoys her job, wants to get to know you, and really is a partner throughout the process. As I found out about interviews and acceptances I think I sometimes told Pamela before my parents because I really felt like she was invested in this journey with me. She’s very direct and clearly outlines timelines and expectations but remains incredibly flexible and compassionate (one of the advantages of being a private consultant over what I heard about larger firms) Due to financial constraints, I only had Pamela help me with 2 of my 4 applications. That being said, she went above and beyond to make sure anything we were doing, be it my resume or interview prep, was helpful for all my applications so I would have the best chance of success to get into as many schools as possible. She really wanted me to succeed. I have a non-traditional background and she helped me craft my unique story and know how to best communicate to an MBA admission team. The interview prep was on point – I really don’t think I would have gotten admitted without this preparation beforehand!! Familiar with US and European programs – She helped me navigate how to tweak my applications to best suit certain schools and talk through the differences in interviews. All in all, I initially didn’t know if a consultant would be worth the money, but after going through the process (and let’s be honest, applying for MBA programs is grueling), I would 100% recommend Pamela!
