Shruti was my MLT coach from 2022-24 and she was truly gifted at giving career advice that is personally tailored to each individual she helps. During my time working with her, she helped me craft an excellent resume, held one-on-one meetings to map out my projected career path and helped me continuously search for internship roles to apply to. Her support extends beyond her time working at MLT as she has also written a letter of recommendation for me for an internship application. She is not only diligent and organized, but also dedicated to making sure her mentees are successful in their respective career paths.

Anna was very helpful during my MBA application essay writing process. Before having Anna read my essays, I had friends, family, and mentors provide their thoughts. However, Anna’s feedback, I believe, was the most instrumental in making my essays stand out. She provided detailed comments throughout my essays that forced me to think more critically about the message I was trying to convey to the admissions committee. Ultimately, I rewrote various portions of my essays based on her commentary. Anna’s review was crucial in taking my essays to their furthest potential.

Jane was a central reason why I was able to land my dream job as a McKinsey Business Analyst. Her mentorship was so immensely valuable for my success, and I strongly vouch for her for three main reasons: 1. Authenticity – Jane was transparent and honest about her journey, and always made sure to highlight the good and bad of her experiences. Not only did her honesty help me fully grasp the process as well as the role I was applying to, but also helped us built genuine rapport. Authenticity is a hallmark of a great mentor as it is the gateway to building a strong, lasting relationship built on trust, and Jane did just that. She was sure to share all the details of her application process, and did not hold back in giving constructive, thorough feedback on how I could best succeed. 2. Approachability – As an immigrant college student applying to McKinsey, I was a little intimidated. Meeting Jane was the best thing that could have happened to alleviate these worries. She was humble and friendly, openly inviting any and all questions that I had. She proved to me that intelligence and ambition does not come at the cost of friendliness and approachability. Having a mentor like Jane was amazing because she was dedicated, available, and understanding of where my journey started and how to guide me along towards my goal. A true mentor is one who goes beyond just answering the basics like “how should I build a framework” but instead guides the mentee in deeper questions like “how should I frame my narrative.” Jane did just that. 3. Broad-Mindedness – Jane does not have the most typical background of a consultant. She was not a business major in college. She had dreams of law school (which she was so successful in pursuing). And most of all, she had other ambitions than just being a cookie-cutter McKinsey BA (nothing wrong with that either). This was honestly immensely inspiring to me. Jane encouraged me to pursue my passions and study what excited me, and she taught me that not everyone’s journey has to look like a straight path, but instead should be one filled with an honest pursuit of learning and growth that sparks joy. I still carry this with me to this day. The most successful people in life and business are ones who go on adventures to discover knowledge and use it to create impact. Jane does that. And as a mentee, seeing that has been inspiring. It goes without saying that Jane is stunningly brilliant, charismatic, and hard working – all of which make a great mentor. What sets her aside though, is her authenticity, approachability, and broad-mindedness. She is a well-rounded, holistic mentor, who for me, has gone above and beyond to help me fulfil my dreams. I will always be grateful to her for her support, service, and mentorship. Thanks Jane!

Sathvika was a tremendous support during my time at Kellogg. She helped me manage internship recruiting while always offering an ear to chat about my questions and concerns. Her advice is tailored to the person she is working with and she will try to be available despite her busy schedule. She always takes a personal and emotional lens to her mentoring so I would recommend chatting with her no matter where you are in your journey!

Nancy was instrumental to my recruiting process. She’s very well-prepared and experienced in consulting interviews and came with great insights to help me improve, since the interviews are so competitive. I had the privilege to have a 1-on-1 with Chardae during the very early stages of my law school application cycle. As a first-gen student, I was very nervous about undergoing the whole process. There was just so much unknown territory that I wasn't too sure what to look for when choosing a law school. She took the time to talk through what I wanted to get out of law school which helped calm a lot of my nerves. Now I can happily say that I am starting my 1L year this fall at UC Law SF, and this is many thanks to the help and guidance I received from Chardae. :)

Josh really helped me to ace the GMAT. Josh was my mentor pre-MBA and then my peer at Booth. Josh provides homework, hundreds of homework video solutions, weekly assignments, and continuously monitored my performance throughout the course. I had a great experience with him and an amazing score of 770. Highly recommended!

I had the privilege of working with Min during my college application process, and I can’t emphasize enough how valuable his guidance was. From the outset, Min’s respectful attitude put me at ease. His deep understanding of the application process transformed what could have been an intimidating journey into a manageable one. Min’s knowledge extended far beyond the basics. He was well-versed in the intricacies of all colleges that I wanted to apply to, their requirements, and scholarship opportunities. I felt thoroughly prepared and informed throughout the entire process. I received acceptance letters from both Yale, with substantial scholarships. I credit these achievements to Min’s unwavering support and expertise. I am grateful for Min’s guidance, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to any student navigating the complexities of college applications.
