Zach Tucker

I’m originally from Salt Lake City, Utah where I studied accounting at the University of Utah before earning my MBA from the Carlson School of Management. As a non-traditional MBA student in a part-time program, I navigated full-time recruiting, landed a competitive internship, and transitioned into roles I once thought were out of reach, while completing the MBA program in just 13 months — so I understand how to stand out without following the "perfect" path. Over the years, I’ve built a career in corporate finance and strategy across Fortune 500 companies like Amazon, UnitedHealth Group, JPMorgan Chase, American Airlines, and Cigna. My experience spans FP&A, M&A, and wealth management. I’ve also been on the other side of the table — spending four years as a recruiter at Amazon and now actively support MBA recruiting at Cigna. As a gay man actively involved in LGBTQ+ affairs at each of my employers, I am passionate about coaching those in the community having been through the MBA admissions process and recruiting.
