About Tyler
I grew up around teams, discipline, and competition. I attended West Point, competed as a Division I athlete, and spent ten years as a U.S. Army Green Beret. I then attended Harvard Business School, where I deepened my focus on leadership, strategy, and building enduring organizations. After HBS, I joined McKinsey & Company, where I worked with clients ranging from nonprofits to Fortune 50 companies on their hardest problems. Today, I am the CEO of a Michigan-based manufacturing company, focused on building strong teams and scaling real operations. Along the way, I’ve coached high-performing candidates into elite MBA programs, MBB consulting roles, and entrepreneurial paths through search and acquisition. I’ve been married for 13 years and am the proud dad of two incredible girls. The same principles that guide my life and leadership shape how I coach: preparation, accountability, and execution.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I genuinely love watching people grow. There’s nothing more energizing to me than seeing someone take ownership of their path, raise their standards, take smart risks, and aim higher than they thought possible. I’ve seen, both in my own life and in the lives of those around me, how transformative the right coach or mentor can be. At the moments that mattered most in my career and personal development, I was fortunate to have leaders and mentors who challenged me, believed in me, and helped me see what I was capable of before I could fully see it myself. Coaching is my way of paying that forward and helping others unlock their potential with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
