TreVorski’s Business Operations & Strategy Qualifications
Experience level: Executive
Welcome to my profile! I bring a blend of technical and strategic depth to my coaching, grounded in an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. I spent six years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) solving strategy problems across a range of industries (e.g., Private Equity, Tech, Consumer Retail, Industrial Goods, Energy & Utilities). The foundation of that work is a discipline I coach today: turning data into insight, insight into a clear point of view, and a point of view into a decision an executive can act on. Most people trying to break into strategy can build the analysis but stall on shaping it into a recommendation that lands in the room. That gap is exactly what I help you close. As Director of Corporate Strategy & Development at Cox Communications, I led strategy for two $XXXM business units and owned the commercial growth strategy for the broader $XXB business. That means I coach from the seat, not just the interview. I know what a strategy team is actually tasked to do, what separates a strong strategy executive from a strong consultant, and how to tell your story so it resonates with the people making the decision. I'd love to help you reach you strategy goals. Let's connect and craft a plan tailored to your aspirations.

About TreVorski
Hi - My name is TreVorski Garrett! Before I was admitted to or hired into any prestigious programs, I was the oldest in a family of 8 children in Rome, Georgia. I was a three-sport athlete with dreams of making it to the NFL, until I was humbled by a 6' 3" terminator after I walked onto the football team at Georgia Tech... …so I picked up dual minors in Business & Economics to complement my Mechanical Engineering major, which led me to an Associate role at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). I spent 3 years with BCG working on an unorthodox combination of growth strategy, digital product management, and private equity advisory before deciding to pursue my MBA. I applied to Stanford Graduate School of Business (the GSB) and Harvard Business School, and ultimately decided to attend the GSB due to the connection I felt with my future classmates and my ambition to focus on Tech Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital investing. While at the GSB, I served as a leader of the Black Business Student Association (BBSA) and View From the Top (VFTT). In the BBSA, I was blessed with the opportunity to invest in the black community at Stanford during a dark period in recent US history. In VFTT, I had the pleasure of interviewing Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Stewart Butterfield of Slack/Flickr. I spent my summer in Los Angeles interning at a VC Fund and a startup to feed my budding passion for entrepreneurship. After graduating from the GSB, I served as the Chief of Staff at a Tech startup before returning to BCG for 3 more years. In those 3 years, I doubled down on product management and investment advisory before pivoting from consulting into a corporate strategy role at Cox Communications. At Cox, I served as the Director of Strategy on the Cox Media leadership team - traveling from market to market to speak with our frontline employees about our strategic vision. After 1.5 years, I was reassigned to advise the Cox Communications leadership team on a transformation which led to me focusing on our Commercial Growth strategy. Fast forward to June 2025...my company is actively being acquired which has led me to think about what I would like to do next…and while I could stay put and continue doing cool strategy work - I miss the infectious energy and aura of possibility suspended around MBA students…so here I am, hoping I can help the next generation of leaders write the next chapter of their story! <3 tg
Why do I coach?
As I recollect the most seamless chapters of my life, one common denominator is great coaches and mentors. Having experienced coaches invested in my success was invaluable, and I aspire to unlock others' potential the way my coaches did for me. Additionally, I'm energized by self-improvement as I spend much of my leisure time exploring mental frameworks and ways to unlock potential.
