About Taylor
I’m Taylor, and I’ve built my career around helping people step confidently into the opportunities they’ve worked hard for. Before Kellogg, I worked in portfolio management at J.P. Morgan and transitioned into the private equity industry at Fairview Capital, where I evaluated private equity and venture capital fund managers, supported co-investment transactions, and led diligence on PE/VC investments. At Kellogg, I’m a Co-Lead of the APEX program (Advanced Private Equity Experience) and hold several leadership roles across the PE community. Along the way, I’ve coached students and young professionals for six years in storytelling, resume writing, personal branding, and interview preparation, especially for private equity, finance, and competitive early-career roles. What I’m most proud of is the growth in confidence shown in those I've worked with. My style is warm, honest, and deeply supportive. I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them move toward the career, and the version of themselves, they’re striving for. If you’re navigating MBA, finance and PE/VC recruiting or building the foundation of your career, I’d love to partner with you.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it feels like to build a career without a clear roadmap. I’m the product of people who took the time to pour into me, mentors who gave me honest feedback, opened doors, and helped me see my full potential. Coaching matters to me because I’ve lived the difference it can make, especially in moments of transition, uncertainty, or ambition that feels bigger than your current reality. I love helping people articulate their story, build confidence, and step into opportunities that can change their lives. Seeing someone grow, stretch, and realize, “I can do this,” is one of the greatest rewards to receive.
