About Suraj
Suraj Sinha is a product and analytics leader at Workday, where he leads product analytics and data strategy within the Research, Analytics & Design organization. He is responsible for building governed data foundations that support product decision-making, executive reporting, and AI-driven measurement across the company. His work centers on creating clarity in complex environments — aligning teams on metrics, defining sources of truth, and turning product usage data into decisions that drive real business impact. Prior to Workday, Suraj was a product leader at Amazon, where he worked on Amazon Managed Services. In that role, he led product strategy and execution for enterprise cloud customers, partnering closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions. His experience at Amazon shaped his approach to product leadership: clear writing, strong ownership, high standards, and disciplined decision-making. Across both organizations, Suraj has built and led cross-functional teams, written executive narratives, launched data platforms, and driven alignment across product, engineering, and analytics. He coaches product managers and aspiring leaders on strategic thinking, executive communication, experimentation, and operating effectively in high-performance environments.
Why do I coach?
I coach because most talented people do not struggle with intelligence or work ethic. They struggle with clarity. Clarity on how to think strategically. Clarity on how to communicate at the executive level. Clarity on what actually gets rewarded inside high performance organizations. I have worked in environments like Amazon and Workday where the bar is high and ambiguity is constant. Over time, I learned that progression is not just about doing good work. It is about defining the right problems, aligning stakeholders, writing clearly, and making decisions with conviction. Those skills are not always taught, but they can absolutely be developed. I coach to help people accelerate that learning curve. Whether you are trying to break into product, level up to senior leadership, improve your executive presence, or navigate complex organizational dynamics, my goal is simple. Help you think more clearly, operate more deliberately, and communicate in a way that drives outcomes. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone go from “I think this is right” to “I know how to approach this.” That confidence changes careers.
