Why do I coach?

Coaching saved my life. Not in a metaphorical way—literally. There was a night, not long after I was discharged from the Marine Corps, when I sat in my car, alone, broken, and on the brink of ending it all. I had gone from serving my country with pride to being homeless, directionless, and drowning in a sense of failure that consumed me. The life I had planned for myself had been ripped away in an instant. The people I thought I could turn to weren’t there. I felt abandoned, discarded, and utterly hopeless. Then, something happened. Through the darkness, someone reached out—a coach, a mentor, someone who saw in me what I couldn’t see in myself. They challenged me, forced me to ask better questions, and most importantly, helped me realize that my current situation did not define my future. That moment changed everything. Instead of giving up, I made a decision: I would dedicate my life to learning everything I could about success, resilience, financial independence, and transformation—so that no one else would have to feel the way I did. I went all in. Over the years, I immersed myself in education, earning over 150 professional certifications and financial designations, all so I could become a true expert, a resource that others could trust. I built and scaled multiple businesses, securing over $4.2 billion in benefits for veterans worldwide. I’ve mentored thousands, spoken on stages across the country, and helped fellow veterans, professionals, and entrepreneurs reclaim their lives, just like I did. Coaching isn’t just my profession. It’s my mission. I coach because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to believe you’ve hit a dead end, to think there’s no way out. And I also know that there is always a way forward—if you have the right strategy, the right mindset, and someone in your corner who refuses to let you give up.
