Why do I coach?
As I was pivoting out of academia, I struggled to find people who had taken a similar path. This forced me to try and navigate that uncertain road mostly by myself. I coach because I want to be the person I wish I could have met when I was first deciding to pursue a job in industry.

- Identified a regulation weakness that allows insiders to have a profit advantage compared to uninformed market participants by designing and solving a structural Bayesian model - Fine-tuned BERT LLMs models for sentiment analysis of firm disclosures; used a Mistral 7B LLM for structured extraction of 10b5-1 plan data from SEC filings - Built a two-tower recommendation system using Pytorch for labour market recommendation - Evaluated the impact that the timing of patent filing has on the profitability of venture capital deals - Mentored 7 non-technical learners in Python through Stanford’s Code in Place 2024 and the program’s first Spanish-language edition in 2025
