Terms and Conditions for Coaching Sessions: By purchasing this coaching package, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept the following terms and conditions: 1. Coaching Outcomes and Expectations: The client understands that coaching is a collaborative process designed to facilitate personal and professional growth. The coaching process is designed to: a) Enhance the client's skills, knowledge, and self-awareness. b) Provide strategies and tools for personal and professional development. c) Support the client in working towards their goals. However, it is important to understand that: d) The coach cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, promotions, or admissions to programs. e) Results vary and depend on factors including the client's effort, market conditions, individual circumstances, place of residence, and geopolitical factors. These may include, but are not limited to: - Job search outcomes in specific markets - Business opportunities affected by international relations - Educational pursuits impacted by visa policies or international agreements - Career paths sensitive to global economic trends or political shifts f) The coach's role is to support and guide, but ultimate responsibility for decisions and actions lies with the client. g) Past client successes do not guarantee similar results for current or future clients. 2. Session Format and Allocation: Coaching sessions can be conducted live (synchronous) or asynchronously, as agreed upon. Coaching hours are strictly for the use of the client who purchased them and are not transferrable to any other individual or entity. 3. Session Confirmation and Rescheduling: All coaching sessions must be confirmed or rescheduled in writing via Leland Direct Message (DM) no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. 4. Cancellations and No-Shows: In the event of a cancellation without proper notice or a no-show, the full coaching time will be logged and charged as if the session had taken place. 5. Tardiness: Punctuality is expected from both parties. If either the client or the coach is more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled session: a) If the client is late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. b) If the coach is late, they will extend the session to make up for the lost time, or offer a separate make-up session if extending is not possible. c) In case of technical issues, both parties agree to work together to resolve the problem or reschedule if necessary. d) Repeated tardiness from either party may be grounds for reviewing the coaching relationship. 6. Session Preparation: For optimal progress and goal achievement, the client must complete all homework agreed upon or assigned by the coach between sessions. Technical requirements for sessions include: a) Stable internet connection required. b) Use laptop or desktop computer for sessions. Mobile phones only as last resort for technical issues. c) Quiet, distraction-free environment necessary. d) Close unnecessary applications and avoid using other devices during session. e) Test audio/video before session. 7. Recording Sessions: Sessions can be recorded. Recordings are strictly available for 30 days from the session date, with no download option. Recordings cannot be used commercially or disseminated online by either party. Sessions can be transcribed live with AI, and session summaries sent to the client after the session. Clients may opt out of recording and/or AI transcription. 8. Communication and Confidentiality: All session-related communication, including confirmations, rescheduling requests, and cancellations, must be done through the Leland platform to maintain a clear record of interactions. The coach agrees to keep all client information and session content confidential, except where required by law. 9. Respect and Professionalism: Both coach and client agree to maintain a respectful and professional relationship throughout the coaching engagement. 10. Payment and Pricing: Payment for coaching sessions is due as per the agreed-upon terms on the Leland platform. Pricing can be changed at any time without notice. The amount paid by the client is strictly for the number of hours secured at the time of purchase. The pricing quoted to and paid by the client may differ from the publicly listed package price. This individualized pricing is confidential and strictly applies to the said client. Variations in pricing may be due to discounts, promotions, or other factors at the coach's discretion. 11. Termination: Either party may terminate the coaching relationship with written notice, subject to completion of any pre-paid sessions. 12. Changes to Terms: The coach reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, with notice provided to the client prior to implementation.
