This package is for aspiring law school candidates looking to get into their dream school. Together, we will work through every part of the application process, from start to finish, including personal statements, essays, resumes, interview prep, LOCIs, and more. Here’s a full overview of what we’ll cover: - Initial Kickoff and Planning Session: We begin by diving into your background, experiences, target schools, and career goals. From there, we build a clear, customized plan tailored to your law school application journey. - School Selection: We work together to develop a list of schools that align with your profile, goals, and preferences. - Application Strategy: We identify your unique strengths and determine how to position them effectively across your application. If there are areas of concern, such as LSAT or GPA, we proactively address them while highlighting what makes you stand out. - Personal Statement Brainstorming, Advising & Editing: We collaborate on ideation, drafting, and refinement to ensure your personal statement tells a clear, compelling story. - Resume Review: We refine your resume together to align with what law school admissions committees look for and ensure it stands out. - Activity Descriptions: We work together to select and position your key experiences in a way that strengthens your overall narrative. - Letters of Recommendation: We strategize on who to ask, how to ask, and how to support your recommenders so you receive strong letters. - Supplemental Essays Advising & Editing: We break down what each school is looking for and work through detailed feedback and revisions together, with up to four edits per essay. - Complete Application Review: We review all materials together to ensure everything is polished, cohesive, and ready for submission. - Interview Coaching: We prepare through mock interviews, targeted feedback, and practice on challenging questions so you can perform with confidence. - Waitlist Strategy & Letters of Continued Interest (LOCI) (if applicable): If you are waitlisted, we develop a clear plan and craft strong LOCIs to maximize your chances of admission. When I first thought of going to law school, I thought it was a terrible idea. Student loans, bad job outcomes, and attorneys’ frequent malaise. But then I did the research. I learned how to crack the code of law school admissions, and understood how to achieve a legal career without breaking the bank. I'll never forget the day I set foot on Harvard Law School's campus. I hadn't gone to a brand-name undergrad. It seemed like everyone else at the admitted students day knew each other; I didn't know anyone. But it didn't matter. You don’t need connections to get into law school; you need strategy. I am a federal clerk and a graduate magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. I also hold a BA from Bard College, and am a PhD student in the Harvard sociology department. I know first-hand how stressful the JD application process is, and how to successfully navigate it. I know what admissions committees look for. And I know how to present your credentials—and build them—the way successful applicants do. As a coach, my approach is bottom-up. If you’re at the beginning of your application process, let's start by assessing your goals, generating a list of programs from there, and then thinking strategically about how to maximize your chances of admission at each program you apply to. If you’re further along, let’s look at your materials and work them into top shape. If you have interviews scheduled, we’ll practice them so you can start off on the right foot with schools you’re interested in.
