Sasha’s Management Consulting Qualifications

Experience level: Consultant

10+ people coached for Management Consulting

I have 4+ years of experience in consulting, first at a boutique consulting firm working on supply chain and procurement cases across many industries and functions, from organizational transformation for Fortune 10 telecom clients to cost reduction for PE-backed portfolio companies to pre-purchase due diligences for PE targets. Alongside my client work, I trained and managed many early career analysts, led university recruiting for a target school, and served as both a case and behavioral interviewer. I completed my MBA summer internship with BCG and will be returning full-time in the fall. During my MBA, I coached and mentored several peers and first-year students formally, as VP of the MIT Sloan Management Consulting Club leading the case interview prep program, and informally, facilitating many practice interview sessions over the past 2 years. I would love to support you at any phase of consulting recruiting or MBA applications!

About Sasha

Hi, I'm Sasha. I recently completed my MBA at MIT Sloan and will be joining BCG as a Consultant this fall. During my MBA, I held leadership positions within the Healthcare and Management Consulting clubs, completed the Finance specialization, and interned at BCG over the summer. Prior to my MBA, I spent 4 years at a boutique consulting firm. Alongside my client work, I trained and managed many early career analysts, co-led undergrad recruiting, and served as a case and behavioral interviewer. During my MBA, I coached and mentored several peers and first-year students formally, as VP of the Management Consulting Club leading the case interview prep program, and informally, facilitating many practice interview sessions over the past 2 years. I have end-to-end coaching experience with MBA applicants across regular admission and deferred admission rounds. Over the past 5+ years, I have helped candidates build the most compelling applications, prepare to nail interviews, and gain acceptance into their target MBA programs. I am excited to help with consulting recruiting and the MBA application process as a coach. As a distance runner in my free time, I know consulting and MBA preparation are marathons, not sprints. My strengths lie in providing direct and actionable feedback and helping you get clear on your strengths, development opportunities, and priorities to ensure you are prepared and putting your best foot forward toward your goals. For consulting recruiting, I can help specifically with: - breaking down core competencies needed in case interviews - conducting mock case and behavioral interviews - drilling case interview skills - providing tailored and actionable feedback For MBA applications, I can help specifically with: - honing in on your goals - developing your application strategy and timeline - crafting your personal and professional storyboard - workshopping essays - preparing for interviews (video and in-person formats)

Why do I coach?

I coach because of the profound impact my mentors and peers alike have had on me personally and professionally. Notably, coaches have empowered me to both set and reach more challenging goals than I initially set, in large part due to the new perspectives and dedicated support they have provided. I am eager to support you as a sounding board, accountability partner, and mentor to help you reach your goals and beyond.
