About Becca

Hi, welcome to my profile! 👋 My name is Becca, and I'm a recent MBA graduate from Stanford GSB. I graduated with my BA from the University of Notre Dame in 2018, and despite having few technical skills at the time, I immediately went to work in data migration. After about a year coding, I left to found a national nonprofit that matches technologists with political campaigns and civic organizations. With 5 years of work experience, I went to Stanford GSB fully funded by scholarships and financial aid in 2023, and just wrapped up my MBA in June 2025. I have an offer to join an AI safety startup this fall, and I'm spending my summer working in growth strategy for an international ecotourism company and coaching on Leland. Why do I coach?

I've had a lot of help on my graduate journey – from mentors, friends, and paid coaches. It took me nearly 5 years to figure out what was right for me, so let me help you speed up that process! I've applied to more than 30 graduate programs, including business (MBA), law (JD), and various Master's degrees. Scholarships & Financing: > I'm eager to help people find more ways to finance their graduate education. I've applied for and received scholarships across graduate programs. For the MBA, I received more than $400K in scholarship offers, and for law school, more than $500K. Essays & Interviews: > The importance of essays cannot be understated! We'll go through how to authentically pitch yourself and build a holistic application. I'm also eager to help you prepare for interviews and successfully showcase your candidacy. Tackling Testing: > I'll help you schedule and strategize for tests (I took the GRE and LSAT).

I worked with my team to source and diligence global investments in urban development, winning an investment from Stanford for a local economic development company. In sourcing, I was particularly interested in urban adaptation: finding scalable, nature-based solutions to climate change impacts in cities.

MBA Intern

• Policy Management: Rewrote tax abatement policy for expansion to small- and medium-sized businesses and pushed for its distribution to the city resources website and local economic councils. • Survey Design: Crafted the first Net Promoter Score for the Regional Chamber of Commerce and presented the methodology for future data collection and results to the Chamber leadership. • Shadowing: Represented the CODB at businesses and organizations across the county and relayed insights back.
