About Rahul
Hi! I'm Rahul and I'm originally from New York City. I went to USC for undergrad, and then spent a year at Goldman Sachs before joining the Strategy team at Salesforce. I worked at Salesforce for about three years, across several different M&As and strategic projects. I was accepted Round 1 at Harvard Business School, where I am currently a student. This summer, I will be working at McKinsey & Company in New York. Outside of school and work, I love to cook and try new restaurants & bars with friends. I also enjoy traveling with my partner, family, and friends.
Why do I coach?
As a first-gen student, I often found it difficult to find access to the right guidance or advice needed to "get into" sought-after jobs or schools. I was lucky along the way to find some truly special mentors who helped guide me and now wish to work with students in a similar capacity. Throughout my career, I've had a good knack for writing & editing and have often been turned to by my peers to review resumes, edit essays, and help craft narratives. When applying to business school, there were a lot of "tricks" or insider tips I had no clue about. More importantly, as a current student at HBS, I feel I've been able to have some direct insight into the school and its students.
