Prerak’s AP Exams Qualifications
Welcome to my profile! It might sound odd, but I actually LOVE coaching students in high school to help them succeed. While currently, I work as a doctor, I actually love connecting my day to day patient care with the foundations of biology, chemistry and math. I have been tutoring students in these subjects from as early as a college student and I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to AP exam coaching. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, I have honed my teaching skills and understand the importance of a solid foundation in education. Although my primary focus has been in medicine and business, I have successfully coached numerous students in achieving their AP exam goals (I have worked with multiple high school students and LOVE the foundations of sciences; it's so nice to link basic math and science and connect them to future careers like medicine and engineering and business).. My approach is tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they not only excel in their exams but also develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Reach out to me, and let's work together to unlock your full potential on your AP exams!

About Prerak
I am passionate about medical education and medical admissions. I started vlogging a lot of my experiences early and have taken the time to really share a lot about the medical school and residency process on YouTube. You can see a lot of my experiences here - including many videos related to pre-medical education, studying while in medical school, and of course, going through residency (https://www.youtube.com/@PrerakJuthani). I believe strongly that medicine is an incredible profession and I am lucky to get to practice it. I also have created multiple free curricula related to medical education including a series called "Intern 101" that students can watch to prepare for residency (https://stanforduniversity.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cGaBW43MAFJZ9DU). While I strive to always provide content for free, it is hard for me to meet with many students given my time constraints, but I'd love to be a small part of your journey!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how confusing and overwhelming the path through medicine and career building can feel when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own. Throughout my life and career, I benefited enormously from mentors and people who were just a few steps ahead of me. Not because they had all the answers, but because they helped me see what was possible, avoid common mistakes, and think bigger about what I could do with my career and my life. At multiple points - choosing medicine, deciding on residency, starting projects, building a YouTube channel, stepping into leadership roles - I didn’t have a perfect roadmap. What helped most were conversations with people who had been through it before and were willing to share honestly. I also coach because I remember how hard certain periods were. Medical school was stressful. Residency was exhausting. There were times where I felt behind, uncertain, or like everyone else had things figured out except me. What I eventually realized is that almost everyone feels that way at some point - they just don’t talk about it. Having mentors and peers who were honest with me made a huge difference in my confidence and my trajectory. Over time, I realized that many people in medicine and other careers are incredibly hardworking and talented, but they don’t have a clear strategy. They work hard, but not always intentionally. Coaching, to me, is about helping people be more intentional - about their careers, their finances, their time, their projects, and their lives. I know that coaching is expensive, so I also make a concerted effort to make tons of content that is freely accessible including my youtube videos (https://www.youtube.com/@PrerakJuthani) and my residency/medicine curriculum (https://stanforduniversity.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cGaBW43MAFJZ9DU). Leland gives me a way to work 1:1 with students, which honestly I'd love to do for free, but just have limited time to do so. If there are specific topics you'd like me to make videos on, please send me an email at [email protected] and I can do that as a way to help indirectly!
