About Parm
I'm a former Monitor Deloitte management consultant with 4 years of experience advising major corporations on strategy, operations, and transformation. Before consulting, I worked as an Investment Analyst at BCI, one of Canada's largest institutional investors, and as a Research Assistant at Stanford GSB, giving me a grounded perspective across strategy, finance, and top-tier academia. I went through the consulting recruiting process myself, navigating case prep and offer decisions without a formal coach - just peers and seniors who were willing to share what they knew. That experience showed me both how learnable this process is, and how much the outcome depends on having the right guidance at the right time. I've since helped candidates break into top consulting firms, and I'm on Leland to do that at scale - for anyone serious about landing a offer at MBB or a Big 4 strategy practice.
Why do I coach?
I didn't have a formal coach when I was recruiting. What I had was a small network of people - seniors at the firm, peers who'd gone through it a year ahead - who were willing to sit down and show me how the process actually worked. That access changed my trajectory. And it made me realize how much consulting recruiting is won or lost before the interview even starts: knowing how to structure a case, how to tell your story, how to present under pressure. None of it is innate - it's all learnable. But only if someone shows you. Most candidates preparing for MBB recruiting are grinding through generic frameworks and hoping for the best. I coach because I want to give you something better than that - a clear picture of what top firms are actually evaluating, and a deliberate plan to get you there.
