Oren’s Executive Coaching Qualifications
Coaches professionally
Experience level: Director
The jump from high performer to people manager is one of the least-prepared-for transitions in someone's career. I coach Millennial and Gen Z leaders at all points in their leadership arc, from new managers finding their footing to senior leaders who want sharper self-awareness and a clearer read on how they're showing up to their teams. My background is in People and HR leadership across high-growth companies, which means I understand the organizational dynamics at play alongside the personal ones. I've built leadership development programs, run performance processes, coached leaders on delivering difficult feedback, and worked alongside the executives whose expectations you're now being held to. I'm an ICF-certified coach (ACC), Hogan-certified practitioner, and NYU Stern MBA. I coach the way I'd want to be coached: direct, honest, and grounded in your actual situation.

About Oren
I started my career in the higher education space, spending 6 years in undergraduate and MBA admissions roles at New York University, including at the Stern School of Business. Sitting on admissions committees, I evaluated, interviewed, and rendered admissions decisions for thousands of candidates from diverse walks of life and represented NYU throughout the continental US, China, India, the UAE, and the UK. I also helped launch, position, market, and recruit for various new programs, including 1-year MBAs in Tech and Fashion & Luxury, degree-granting campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, and undergraduate programs in Global Public Health and Real Estate. My corporate experience includes HR, marketing, and strategy roles at startups and major companies, such as Nova Credit (VC-backed fintech), American Express, Hilton, William Morris Endeavor (WME), and Westfield. As head of the People function at Nova Credit, I served as HR lead for a distributed workforce, partnering with executives, managers, and individual contributors, structuring performance cycles and compensation, and facilitating performance management, leadership development, and employee relations. At Westfield and WME, I built and managed talent and career development programs, launching and leading Westfield’s US International Graduate Program (IGP) and overseeing career progression for WME’s Assistant through Agent population. I am a double alum of NYU, where I received a BS in Media, Culture, and Communication and an MBA with Strategy and Marketing specializations from the Stern School of Business. I am also an ICF-certified coach (ACC), Certified Executive Coach (CEC), certified Hogan Assessments practitioner, and hold an SPHR certification from HRCI. A New Jersey native and New Yorker of 12 years, I moved to Los Angeles in 2018, where I’m currently based.
Why do I coach?
After years working in higher education admissions and in HR and People leadership, I kept finding myself drawn to the individual: the overachiever navigating a hard career moment, the leader trying to find their footing, the applicant trying to tell their story. Coaching lets me be fully on their side. The through-line across all of it is the same. Smart, driven people who are capable of more than they're currently expressing, and who need someone to surface what they can't see on their own. Whether that's a leadership challenge, a career pivot, or a graduate school application, the work comes down to finding the threads that tie everything together and using that clarity to move forward. It's rewarding work, and I love doing it.
