Nisha’s Career Coaching Qualifications

Experience level: Director

Nisha has helped clients get into these companies:

I help cautious people leap and impulsive people land. That means I work with people navigating high-stakes decisions — negotiating compensation, applying to MBA programs, pivoting careers, or figuring out how parenthood changes the professional math. The common thread: you're smart enough to see all the complexity, and that's exactly what's making it hard to move. I'm warm and I'm direct, and I'll ask the question you've been circling around. My job isn't to hand you a script. It's to help you think clearly enough to trust your own judgment when it counts. Why me: At Berkeley Haas, I was selected as a Graduate Student Instructor for Negotiations based on exemplary performance — coaching, grading, and mentoring students through one of the most competitive courses in the MBA curriculum. I also facilitated Dialogues on Race and completed Power & Politics and Interpersonal Dynamics ("Touchy Feely"), the course co-taught with Stanford on feedback, conflict, and the conversations most people avoid. Four courses in how humans influence, navigate difference, and build trust — and I've been on both sides of the classroom. As VP of Admissions for the Haas MBA student association, I reviewed applications and helped candidates tell stories that were actually theirs. I know what gets someone in and what doesn't. Professionally, I spent a decade in tech strategy at LinkedIn and Salesforce, making complex cross-functional initiatives land. Before that, I was a Teach For America corps member, where I learned that good coaching meets people where they are. I'm a visual thinker, a former teacher, and I'm deeply interested in what stays human in an increasingly tech-driven world — the ability to negotiate, read a room, and have a hard conversation with grace. Those aren't soft skills. They're the skills that compound. Whether you're looking to advance in your current role or pivot to a new career path, I'm here to help you navigate the complexities of career development. Let's work together to achieve your professional goals!

About Nisha

I help cautious people leap and impulsive people land. I'm warm and I'm direct, and I'll ask the question you've been circling around. I focus on helping you think clearly enough to trust your own judgment, and zoom out enough to identify what really matters. My experience: I'm a tech strategist, former teacher, and management consultant, with a splash of finance. I've pivoted and landed career changes without a roadmap, which is partly why I'm good at helping others do the same. At LinkedIn and Salesforce, I built deep expertise in strategy and operations, and I know how big organizations actually work from the inside. I started my career as a Teach For America corps member, where I learned what relentless pursuit of results really means, and that great coaching meets people where they are. At Berkeley Haas, I was selected as a Graduate Student Instructor for Negotiations based on exemplary performance, and I coached and mentored students through one of the most competitive courses in the MBA curriculum. By going for my MBA later in my career, I focused on the courses most MBAs skip: Power & Politics and Interpersonal Dynamics ("Touchy Feely"), the course co-taught with Stanford on feedback, conflict, and the conversations most people avoid. I also facilitated Dialogues on Race. Four courses in how humans influence, navigate difference, and build trust, and I've been on both sides of these classrooms. As VP of Admissions for the Haas MBA student association, I reviewed applications and helped candidates tell their most authentic stories. I know what gets someone in and what doesn't. I'm a visual thinker, a former teacher, and I'm deeply interested in what stays human in an increasingly tech-driven world. The ability to negotiate, read a room, and have a hard conversation with grace. These skills compound, and there are learnable tactics to make them more natural for us all. I'm most excited by helping folks deepen their understandings of themselves and expand their toolkits to handle (thrive, not just survive) no matter what comes their way.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I've been coached. Mentors, colleagues, and friends challenged and guided me at the right times, and those moments changed the trajectory of my career. There are often unspoken rules, tactics, and ways of working, and I believe in making the implicit explicit to support growth. I look forward to helping you in your trajectory.
