About Nathan
I took the ACT twice in high school, getting a 33 and a 35. As both a current high school algebra teacher and an MBA applicant studying for the GMAT, I understand not only how to teach the content, but also what students want from their tutors when studying for a test. In my current teaching role, I spend most of my time working with low-income students, many of whom are learning English, and I specialize in helping them do well on their standardized admissions tests, whether ACT or SAT.
Why do I coach?
My first job was teaching piano lessons to local neighbors, starting at age 13. I have loved teaching ever since, and have spent the last decade working with teenagers. My purpose has always been the same, whether with music, math, or admissions tests: I help you have confidence, grow your skills, and reach your goals.
