About Mobeen

Hi, I'm Mobeen and I joined the world of finance and investments right after graduation. And my goal is to help you do the same :) Let's face it! Everyone wants to get into a kick-ass finance role. Be it Investment Banking, Financial Analyst, VC or something else. But more often than not, what you get after graduation is a low-paying sales role or something similar and unexciting. Or even worse, you're unable to crack the interview even after multiple attempts :/ My goal is to help you land your first role in Venture Capital through- 1. Resume Revamp 2. Interview Prep 3. Upskilling As for myself, I have worked in two of the leading Angel-investment platforms of the country and got a fast-track promotion in my first job at a VC firm. I bring 4+ years of experience in Venture Capital, having successfully mentored 10+ students in the last one year. I am confident I can help you too in your path to Venture Capital mastery!

Why do I coach?

I come from a non-tech, non-MBA background. So I know the struggles of breaking into VC without these "tags". Also, as you can see from my LinkedIn, I'm no "guru" with 10+ years of experience. So then why am I doing this? It's because I consider myself lucky to have found some great mentors in my initial years and feel blessed to continue to have them even now, so I can depend on them to get an unbiased, unfiltered guidance on my career and future plans. So this is a way for me to pay it forward. Consider me less as a mentor and more as a friend who is 2 steps ahead of you. That's all :)
