Maya’s Management Consulting Qualifications
Experience level: Intern
Maya has helped clients get into these companies:
Hi! I’m Maya, an economics and math student and the Vice President of Rem on Campus, the most selective consulting club at the University of Florida. I’m also a pretty non-traditional candidate. I grew up in India and went to a boarding school there up until college, so I came into UF with zero pipeline, no “target school advantage,” and a lot to figure out on my own. Everything I’ve accomplished has come from building my own path. I spent months preparing for consulting recruiting, eventually reaching final rounds at McKinsey as a sophomore and earning a Bain internship for this upcoming summer. Along the way, I learned how overwhelming the process can feel when you’re navigating it independently, and how much strategy, structure, and confidence truly matter. Those experiences are why I coach. I know how transformational the right guidance can be, because mentorship is what helped me go from newcomer to competitive candidate. Now, I’m excited to offer that same support to students navigating recruiting, networking, behavioral prep, casing, or simply figuring out whether consulting is the right fit. Wherever you are in the process, I’m here to help you approach recruiting intentionally, build your skills, and feel genuinely confident in your story!
