About Maryam
I’m an MBA candidate at The Wharton School and incoming Consultant at BCG (San Francisco), with a background spanning strategy consulting and tech growth leadership. Before Wharton, I worked on go-to-market and growth strategy for LinkedIn’s $4B Advertising business. At Accenture, I advised Fortune 500 clients on operational strategy and organizational effectiveness. I’m passionate about helping ambitious, globally-minded applicants craft compelling narratives that connect leadership, impact, and long-term vision. Having lived in six countries (Mexico, Switzerland, Singapore, China, U.S., U.K.) and worked across industries, I bring both strategic rigor and cultural fluency to everything I do. Whether you're chasing an MBA, breaking into consulting, pivoting to tech, or simply figuring out your next move, I'm here to help you articulate not just what you've done, but who YOU are becoming.
Why do I coach?
I coach because someone once believed in me before I believed in myself. At nineteen, I was the only intern in my division at Hitachi Rail Europe. My manager put me in rooms and conversations most people my age never see, and treated me like I belonged there. That belief changed how I saw myself, and ultimately shaped my career. He has become my life-long mentor and no surprise, is a candidate for CEO at the company. Ten years later - throughout my path - coaches and mentors, from the most informal to formal conversations, have helped me see the through-line my story when I couldn't. Coaches help connect the dots between who we are and where we are going, while helping instill the confidence to pursue our goals fully. Coaching, to me, is about doing exactly that for others. I would love to help you own who YOU are becoming!
