About Lucas
Hi, I’m Lucas! I’m currently a Product Manager at Mastercard and a UC Berkeley graduate with a B.A. in Data Science. Growing up in Los Angeles and later moving to the Bay Area, I’ve explored different majors, industries, and career paths before finding my true passion in product management. Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to work at companies like Microsoft, Cisco Meraki, Atlassian, and Mastercard, building products and coaching others to break into PM roles. Outside of work, I love dancing (hip hop), collecting Pokémon cards, and going to concerts (I’ve been to more than 40!). Recently, I’ve been experimenting with side projects that let me combine my skills in data and AI with my creative interests. I’m excited to share my journey and help others discover their own path into product management.
Why do I coach?
For a long time, I felt completely lost when it came to choosing a career. It seemed like everyone around me, both in person and online, already had it figured out while I had no roadmap. Coming from a family and circle of friends outside of tech and business, I had to navigate this path on my own, often unsure of the next step. That’s why coaching matters so deeply to me. I want to be the “big brother” I wish I had, someone who can guide you through uncertainty, help you feel confident in yourself, and show you that breaking into product management is possible no matter your background. You deserve the career and future you dream of just as much as anyone else, and I’m here to help you get there.
