About Kusha
My path to business school didn't follow the usual script. I didn't come from McKinsey, Goldman, or Google. I built my career at a boutique life sciences consulting firm most people haven't heard of, and I studied physics and systems engineering, not accounting. When I decided to pursue an MBA, I honestly wasn't sure how my story would land with admissions committees. But it landed well. I was accepted to several top programs with over $250K in total scholarship offers. Turns out that being "non-traditional" isn't a weakness. You just have to know how to tell your story. That's what I help people do.
Why do I coach?
Applying to business school was one of the most stressful things I've ever done, and I did it on a compressed timeline. I spent weeks talking to dozens of alumni, current students, and admissions officers trying to piece together what actually matters. I also worked with my own MBA coach, and having that guidance made a real difference. I came out the other side with a perspective I wish I'd had from day one. I know how expensive coaching can be, and I remember wondering whether it was worth the investment. That's why I'm here. I want to pay it forward and make sure the people I work with get every dollar's worth of value.
