Kirti’s MBA Qualifications
Having recently navigated the deferred MBA application cycle, I understand exactly what admissions committees at top programs are seeking right now. I secured acceptances to the deferred MBA programs at Northwestern and MIT, so my greatest asset as a coach is my fresh, firsthand proximity to this highly competitive process. I understand the challenge of balancing rigorous academics with test prep and application revisions, and I know how to strategize effectively to help you cross the finish line during senior year. My core competencies lie in essay editing, resume crafting, and application and interview strategy. As the Academic Director for my school's consulting branch, I spent my college career breaking down high-stakes recruiting processes into actionable, step-by-step strategies for my mentees. Whether we are refining your resume or identifying the cohesive narrative in your personal statement, I am here to build a customized strategy that helps you succeed. I've successfully coached 5 individuals, helping them craft compelling applications. I strongly believe in mentorship (I am an older sister, so I really can't take it out of me) and couldn't have accomplished my goals without mentors - I really want to pay it forward. Let's work together to make your application stand out and secure your spot at a top business school!

About Kirti
Welcome to my profile! I am Kirti, a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin (Hook'em!) with a strong passion for strategy, storytelling, and helping candidates find their unique voice. Professionally, my background spans multiple roles and industries. My experiences range from management consulting as a Summer Analyst at McKinsey to evaluating late-stage startups in venture capital, and driving strategy for a YC startup. This fall, I will be moving to Washington, D.C. to rejoin McKinsey & Co. as a Business Analyst. Beyond my professional pursuits, I deeply value the power of a compelling narrative. During my undergraduate career, I founded the Data Department at our student newspaper, The Daily Texan, to merge quantitative insights with journalism. In my free time, you can usually find me running with my dog, behind the lens as a freelance photographer, or reading the next nonfiction book on human psychology. I have worked across a diverse set of environments and look forward to bringing that perspective to your MBA journey too!
Why do I coach?
I believe that coaching is one of life's greatest honors because it allows me to help others unlock their highest potential. Growing up as an older sister naturally instilled in me a strong desire to guide those coming up behind me. This translated directly into my college career, where I found my most fulfilling moments were not just achieving my own milestones, but mentoring younger students through the stressful hurdles of consulting recruiting and graduate school. I have benefited immensely from mentors who took the time to understand my unique narrative, and I want to pay that forward by being the dedicated, empathetic sounding board you need during this intensive process. What separates my coaching style is the level of deep, personalized attention I dedicate to your story. The deferred MBA process requires candidates to articulate a compelling vision for their future before they have even started their full-time careers. I love to help connect the dots between your seemingly disparate experiences (which was my background going into the process as well), and turning them into a cohesive, powerful narrative. My ultimate goal is to offer you efficiency and clarity, using my very recent personal experience to shorten your learning curve and elevate your candidacy.
