Spring entry runs on a compressed timeline. Most schools with a January start have priority deadlines in late September and final deadlines in November. This package is built to work inside that window. It's designed for applicants who withdrew or took time away from a program, reapplicants, career changers, and anyone who decided too late for the fall cycle. We start with the school list. There are fewer spring-start programs than people expect, and the lists circulating online are out of date. Several schools on them have closed or lost ABA accreditation. I verify which programs are actually running a January cohort this year, what their priority and final deadlines are, and which ones will realistically consider your record. You get that as a spreadsheet you can work from, with deadlines and notes on fit. Then we build the file. Personal statement. If you have a draft, we work from it. If you don't, we start with a conversation about what you want the reader to come away with. My edits come back in the document itself. Line edits are marked as strikethrough and anything structural comes in as a comment, so you can see what changed and why. Addenda. Most spring applicants have something to explain. A withdrawal, a weak semester, a gap, repeat LSAT sittings, a character and fitness disclosure. This is usually the highest-stakes writing in the application and the part applicants handle worst. We decide together what needs an addendum, what doesn't, and how long each one should be. In most cases they run too long. A short addendum that states the facts beats a long one that argues. Resume in law school format, which is not the format you use for jobs. Recommendations. I'll help you decide who to ask, what to send them, and when, working backward from your deadlines.
