About Kevin

๐ŸŽ“ College Consulting I run a personalized college consulting practice that helps students navigate the admissions process with confidence, strategy, and clarity. My approach starts with understanding each student's strengths, interests, and goals, then building a plan that elevates their story across essays, activities, and overall positioning. I like to begin early so we can shape the activities page and full narrative from the ground up. Last season, every student I worked with was admitted to their top-choice schools, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, USC, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, Cal, Brown, Dartmouth, and many more. ๐Ÿ’ผ Career Background I am currently a startup founder building ModernEdge AI, an AI consulting and automation company working with businesses across the United States. Before entrepreneurship, I worked in private equity, global strategy consulting, and the public sector, including serving in a U.S. Senator's office and supporting geopolitical analysis at a leading Washington DC consulting firm. These experiences shaped my understanding of business, policy, and global markets, which I bring into my coaching and mentorship. ๐ŸŒ More About Me I am someone who follows my curiosity wherever it leads, and Stanford has been the perfect place to explore ideas that inspire me. My interests span global affairs, technology, and the human side of leadership. My curiosity led me to take a gap year across Kenya, Colombia, China, and India, where I learned how much your worldview expands when you step into lives far different from your own. Those lessons shape how I show up on campus, where I love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and learning from the stories they share. Let's work together and achieve your college admissions goals!

Why do I coach?

Iโ€™ve always found a lot of meaning in helping students find their way through the admissions process. Throughout my time at Stanford, Iโ€™ve been the person younger siblings, friends, and people in my extended circle turn to when they need guidance. I enjoy working with students, listening to their dreams and worries, helping them shape their story, and connecting them with opportunities or people who can support their goals. Mentoring has become something I do naturally, not out of obligation but because I genuinely like seeing students grow more confident in themselves. Coaching simply lets me extend that support to more families and continue doing what I care about most: helping students feel prepared and excited about their future.
