About Kevin
Hi, I’m Kevin Chang, a Cornell University graduate joining McKinsey as a Business Analyst. Having gone through the consulting recruiting process myself, I know how overwhelming it can feel to balance casing, behavioral prep, networking, and resume positioning. I’ve helped peers refine their stories, strengthen case interview habits, and communicate their experiences more confidently. My goal as a coach is to make the process feel more structured, personal, and manageable, whether you’re just starting out or preparing for final-round interviews.
Why do I coach?
I coach because mentorship made a real difference in my own recruiting journey. As an international student trying to break into consulting, I had to learn how to translate my experiences across healthcare, data analytics, student leadership, and military service into stories that felt clear, personal, and credible. The most helpful mentors were not the ones who simply gave me “perfect” answers, but the ones who helped me understand how to think, communicate, and make my own experiences stand out. I hope to offer that same kind of support. I enjoy helping candidates turn scattered experiences into compelling narratives, build confidence in case interviews, and approach recruiting with more structure and less anxiety.
