Package Description:

This package is designed for high schools students aiming to maximize their chances of acceptance to top colleges and BYU by enlisting the expertise of a seasoned coach to guide them through the entire application process from start to finish. This package includes comprehensive application support for the Common App, plus the BYU application for free. Applicants will choose one common app essay they'd like to work with a coach on (note that two of the common app essays are included on the BYU application). You may use that Common App essay to apply to other schools and adapt it however you'd like for BYU. Once your work on the Common Application is complete, your coach will then provide 100% FREE support on the rest of the BYU application. See the bottom of these package details on why any BYU support needs to be free. Here's a comprehensive overview of what this package entails: 1. Personalized Coach Matching: Upon enrollment, you'll complete a detailed matching survey to facilitate the selection of the perfect coach tailored to your target colleges and individual objectives. 2. Initial Kickoff and Planning Session: Following the coach pairing, embark on an extensive kickoff session delving into your background, goals, experiences, potential recommenders, aspirations, and more. Together, you'll develop a customized plan specifically tailored to your college application journey. 3. Application Strategy: Engage in in-depth discussions with your coach to identify your unique strengths as an applicant and strategize on effectively showcasing them throughout your college application. 4. Essay Brainstorming, Advising & Editing: Receive expert guidance and feedback from your coach throughout the personal statement crafting process, ensuring your narrative effectively highlights your motivations, experiences, and aspirations. Again, two of the six essay options for the Common App are also essays you can use for BYU. 5. Activity Descriptions: Work closely with your coach to select and articulate extracurricular activities, experiences, awards, and honors in a compelling manner, enhancing the overall strength of your application. 6. Complete Application Review: Your coach will conduct a meticulous review and final edit of all application materials, including personal statements, essays, activity descriptions, and letters of recommendation, ensuring a cohesive and compelling application package. INCLUDED FOR FREE AS A PART OF THIS PACKAGE: 7. BYU Recommender Selection, Prep, and Support: Strategize with your coach on selecting and engaging potential recommenders, crafting polished recommender prep documents, and ensuring the submission of strong and supportive recommendations. 8. BYU Essay Brainstorming, Outlining, and Editing: Your coach will provide FREE revisions in line with BYU's application guidelines. They will not draft essays for you or leverage AI, but they will thoughtfully support you as you craft winning essays that show the admissions team who you are. 9. BYU Activities List: Your coach will provide FREE revisions and advice as you select the activities you'd like to share with the admissions team. 10. Final BYU Application Review: Your coach will conduct a FREE comprehensive review and provide final edits on all application materials to ensure they are polished and aligned with your overall narrative and objectives. To summarize, you are drafting a world-class coach onto your team to help you with every step of this competitive process. They will check-in in regularly, share honest/constructive feedback freely, and ensure you are on the right track. If for any reason it becomes clear that your coach is not the right fit, we are happy to help you find another coach that can help you get to the finish line successfully. A note on the BYU Application: Leland has worked with dozens of our BYU expert coaches (including former BYU admissions officers) to build a package that is in compliance with BYU's application guidelines.
