The Hourly College Application Support package ensures you'll have a seasoned partner by your side to provide as much guidance as you need. Together we can get you started; bring your application from 'good' to 'outstanding' with a final review; work together to craft your narrative in light of some unusual choices you've made; or partner for the entire process, starting in your Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior year. With years of experience helping hundreds of applicants gain admission to top programs worldwide, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a personalized approach to your college application process. This tailored coaching plan is designed to help you craft a standout application that reflects your unique strengths and aspirations. Whether you're just starting or refining your final submissions, we'll work together to ensure every element of your application is polished and compelling. Below is a list of the entire array of support options available, from finding out what makes you unique, all the way through helping you to decide which school's offer to accept. You can select the elements you want from the options below, and we'll tailor your coaching accordingly: 1. Initial Kickoff and Planning Sessions: Here, we will dive deep into your background, getting to know the stories, achievements, development opportunities, and milestones that have made you the unique individual you are today. 2. Resume Creation: Working on the resume together provides an opportunity for me to get to know you on a deeper level, which will help when it comes to working on essays and recommendation briefings. The resume process continues throughout our time together, as experience shows it to be a dynamic document, changing as your life progresses. 3. Career Goals: We'll spend time determining what your goals are and seeing how they align to the schools you choose. 4. Recommender Selection and Support: We'll determine who will be the strongest candidates, and create together a briefing or 'brag sheet' to help them draft the strongest possible letters. 5. School Selection: Together, we'll create a list of best-fit schools based on your profile, goals, and preferences. 6. Personal Statement: This core component of your application is your chance to let the programs know what is truly unique about you, and who you are as a distinct individual. We'll brainstorm topics and iterate drafts until we both feel we have the final version, ready for submission. 7. Essay Brainstorming: Many of your schools will require additional essays. We will brainstorm these as well and decide together how best to answer them. You'll craft the initial draft, and we'll do rounds until we feel these too are ready for submission. 8. Activities & Interests, Awards & Honors, Employment details: We will dig around to find your most impressive activities, and work on expressing them in the best way possible, considering the tight character count. 9. Final Review: I go over the final product with a fine-tooth comb to ensure there are no typos, errors, or other small mistakes that can take focus away from your brilliant content. Of course throughout the year, I am available to answer any and every question that arises, from decisions to be made during the year about activities or test retakes, as well as to simply talk about the process, and see how you are holding up during this stressful time!
