About Josh
Welcome to my page! I’m a recent MBA graduate from Harvard Business School. Prior HBS, I spent 3+ years in PE on the West Coast across two different funds investing in the technology space. During this time, I closed three deals and was deeply involved with a number of portfolio companies across different stages of company lifecycles and financing strategies. Prior to my time in PE, I worked at EY-Parthenon where I advised leading PE investors on software and tech-enabled services acquisitions through technology and commercial diligence engagements. Before I entered the workforce, I studied Economics at Brown University.
Why do I coach?
My edge as a coach comes from my genuine love for teaching. After I "broke in" to PE as a non-MBB consultant, I started receiving frequent cold outreach via LinkedIn and email from strangers eager to follow in my footsteps. I saw this as an opportunity to give back by helping ambitious people achieve their goals; to this day, I have never ghosted a single person, regardless of their background. I started by helping people prep for the demanding PE interview process before expanding into MBA admissions support, including essay feedback and interview prep for applicants targeting top programs. I care a lot about meeting people where they are, understanding how they learn best, and giving advice that is practical, honest, and tailored to them. I love helping folks refine their stories, sharpen their resumes, gain mastery over technical skills, and navigating recruiting / admissions processes with more confidence.
