About Jose

Hello! My name is Jose Herreria, and I was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. When I was three, my family moved to the United States. My parents made incredible sacrifices to allow my sisters and I to gain an education here, and that has motivated me through everything I have achieved thus far in my career. I just graduated from UT Austin with BBAs in Business Honors and Finance. At UT, I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Now, I am about to begin my full-time career at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant. This past year, I devoted hundreds of hours to the Deferred MBA process and was fortunate to receive acceptances to Wharton, Booth, and CBS. I believe my thoroughness across every aspect of the application, from school selection to essay writing, was the key to my success. I am passionate about passing on what I have gained to others, and I am excited to do so as a coach! Additionally, my experiences recruiting for both Strategy& and Bain, as well as the mentees I have helped break into consulting, have provided me expertise in all facets of the recruiting process.
