I was a Mechanical Engineering Major who learned about Investment Banking after my sophomore internship. With zero support resources from my non-target school, I cold-emailed my way into investment banking at Moelis, learning the requisite technical skills from interview guides and online resources. From Moelis, I recruited in on-cycle recruiting where I secured job offers at my top two firms (Berkshire Partners + Large NYC PE), and chose to spend 2 years at Berkshire Partners. I am now at Harvard completing my MBA.

Why do I coach?

After becoming the first student from my undergrad to break into Investment Banking in New York, I wanted to build a program that would help others from my undergrad along this path. I then launched an investment banking group on campus and built out a program that includes full technical training, behavioral interview prep, resume review, and networking guidance. Throughout all of this, I was able to serve as a mentor to students seeking to break in, and this group now places ~20 students a year into investment banking, from New York to Atlanta to Houston to San Francisco. Since graduation, I have remained involved in this undergrad club, and also led training programs for students on breaking into Private Equity across growth equity, middle-market PE and large-cap PE.
