I’m an MBA coach who has been through the elite admissions process myself—and emerged on the other side with a joint MBA/MPA from The Wharton School and Harvard Kennedy School, after earning my undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College. Before business school, I spent four years as a management consultant at Accenture, advising Fortune 500 executives on strategy, operations, and digital transformation, and later worked across venture capital and startups with firms like Techstars, Harlem Capital, and Menlo Ventures. That combination—elite academics, high-stakes professional experience, and hands-on operating and investing work—gives me a clear view into what top MBA programs actually look for: leadership under pressure, intellectual curiosity, impact, and a compelling personal narrative.
