About John
I'm Dr. John Lewis, a doctoral-level technology strategist, Professor of Information Technology at Arizona State University, and the founder of Lewis Systems Group LLC. I'm also a U.S. Army veteran, a father, and someone who has rebuilt his life from the ground up more than once. I coach across four domains because I've done the work in all of them: enterprise AI strategy and implementation, personal development and life design, health and physical optimization, and family systems. My clients don't get a textbook framework, they get someone who has navigated real complexity, earned real credentials, and made real changes at every level of life. I'm a first-generation doctorate holder on both sides of my family, and I bring that same relentless, build-from-nothing energy to every client I work with.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I spent years figuring things out the hard way and I refuse to let that go to waste. I've been through military service, recovery, reinvention, doctoral work, fatherhood, and building businesses simultaneously and I know what it looks like when someone is capable of more than their current circumstances reflect. I coach to close that gap. Whether someone is trying to implement AI in their organization, redesign their daily life, optimize their body, or get their family running like a system that actually works and I've been in that work personally, and I know how to help someone move through it faster and with more clarity than I had.

Documented and tracked the continuous shipping, maintenance, and accountability of over 2.4 million dollars’ worth of security systems and chemical protective equipment. Successfully provided safety and security for over 100 U.S. civilians and government assets in the excess of 215 million dollars. Cleared over 200 personnel via security system, to verify proper security clearance before granting access to specific locations. Knowledgeable in the functions of DoD security systems. Processed and evaluated over 250 felony level Criminal Investigation Division cases, with a success rate of a 100% rightful subject and evidence identification. Supervised two teams of investigators, which led to the most criminal cases for any office within the United States Army for two consecutive years. Trained and provided oversight of security operational procedures for over 70 government contracted security personnel, designated for the safety and well-being of a remote location for 6 months.
