About Jessica
As a lawyer turned career coach, I work exclusively with lawyers and compliance professionals. My clients include law students and early career, mid-level, and executive lawyers at companies such as Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Google, KPMG, Meta, Microsoft, Verizon, and Walmart, as well as other Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and members of the judiciary, Global 100 and Am Law 200 firms, and nonprofit and academic institutions. I work with law students and lawyers at all phases of their legal careers, helping them navigate job searches with confidence and develop compelling narratives that communicate their strengths and unique value proposition. Why do I coach?
Like many lawyers, I started down a traditional career path: a judicial clerkship followed by litigation associate positions at a large regional law firm and an Am Law 100 firm in Manhattan. Unlike many lawyers, I made some significant pivots. I left the practice of law and pursued an alternative career path that included a teaching fellowship, work with legal tech/AI companies, and law school career counseling. As an Associate Director of Career Services, I served as the primary advisor to law school alumni, coaching lawyers across law firms, nonprofits, government, and in-house roles at every stage of their career, guiding them on resume preparation, job search strategy, and professional development. Through that work, I found my niche: coaching lawyers. As a first-generation college graduate, law student, and practicing lawyer, I navigated various career processes and transitions, from OCI and switching law firms to shifting to an alternative career path. I am intrinsically motivated to help others, and find it rewarding to use my background, unique career, and industry knowledge to help fellow lawyers build successful careers that are fulfilling and aligned with their strengths and values.
