About Jenny
I live in Lawrence, Kansas but am originally from the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas. I love being outdoors but hate bugs. I especially hate June bugs, even though I’m a June baby. I’m a former music major who ultimately studied anthropology, Spanish, and international business. You could say my interests are wide-ranging! I’d never really been anywhere, until my first flight (an international one!) at age 22. Since then, I’ve traveled and studied in more than 10 countries (primarily in Latin and South America and Eastern Europe) and have a travel wish list 10 times longer. My spouse Vanja and his family are originally from Bosnia-Herzegovina, although we met at The Bourgeois Pig, a bar/coffee-shop in downtown Lawrence. We have two kids (now young adults) – Alex is an Environmental Studies grad of the University of Kansas, and Emina is exploring options at Johnson County Community College. We enjoy kayaking and exploring as a family and are gearing up for a summer trip to Montana and Yellowstone National Park.
Why do I coach?
In previous roles, I was often sought out as a sounding board and thought partner for leaders at various levels. Seeing the difference that made inspired me to become a certified executive coach, honing my natural ability to listen deeply and support leaders as they find their own way forward. I am committed to creating environments where people can thrive and to helping leaders model curiosity, reflection, accountability, and growth. My work blends inquiry, challenge, and practical strategy to support sustainable leadership development. Clients and colleagues describe me as a trusted relationship‑builder who works effectively across diverse roles, identities, and levels of influence.
