About Jennifer

I’m a longtime DC-area resident who has also called Chicago and Boston home. Travel is probably my greatest passion. I’m endlessly curious about other places, cultures, food, and the people who live there. I’ve traveled extensively throughout Asia, including China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India, as well as across Africa, Europe, and parts of Central and South America. There's almost no trip I wouldn't go on unless it involves a boat in rough seas. At home, I love to cook, read, spend time with animals, and get outside whenever I can—whether that means hiking, skiing, or going to the beach. I’m happiest when I’m learning something new, exploring somewhere unfamiliar, or sharing those experiences with the people I love.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I love people! I am incredibly interested in what makes someone tick and why, and this job allows me to help others discover just that. I get so excited when I can help applicants unlock their story and package it together to tell it to admissions. I know that no two people are alike, and that no two applicants are alike, even though they may have strikingly similar resumes and backgrounds. I'm here to help them uncover what makes them different and why.
