I work with clients one-on-one in either 60 or 90 minute sessions. I focus on asking questions designed to help clients see the challenge they are facing as "theirs" to solve with what they can control rather than feeling like they are "victims" of things they cannot control. I give clients specific, relevant "homework" that they agree to do in order to move toward their goal. I hold clients accountable for doing this work between sessions. If they do not complete agreed upon tasks, we explore what happened and why.
