Most parenting advice focuses on solving today's problem. I help moms build the kind of family that can handle tomorrow's challenges. My approach combines more than 14 years in education—including senior leadership experience at the school and district level—with the realities of raising my own family. Throughout my career, I've helped leaders create clarity, alignment, shared ownership, and sustainable ways of working together. I now bring those same leadership principles into the home. Together, we start by creating a clear vision for the family you want to build. From there, we strengthen the foundations that make that vision possible: alignment, shared leadership, ownership, healthy rhythms, and capacity. Rather than reacting to one challenge after another, we put proactive habits, conversations, and structures in place so your family is better equipped before life gets overwhelming. My goal isn't to help you become a more efficient mom. It's to help you build a family where everyone contributes, everyone grows, and home feels lighter, more connected, and more enjoyable.

About Ivana
I'm an educator, leadership coach, and mom of four who has spent the last 14 years helping people accomplish ambitious goals through strong leadership, clear strategy, and meaningful relationships. Throughout my career, I've served as a teacher, instructional coach, principal, Head of Schools, and now an instructional coach supporting school and district leaders. Whether I'm coaching executives, educators, or moms, my work is grounded in the same belief: lasting results come from starting with a compelling vision, narrowing priorities, building alignment, and leading people in ways that inspire genuine commitment rather than simple compliance. Outside of work, my favorite (and most challenging) leadership role is at home with my husband and our four kids. Many of the principles I teach leaders are the same ones my family practices every day—because leadership isn't just a skill for the workplace. It's a way of building teams, cultures, and relationships that thrive together.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I've seen how dramatically one leader can change the trajectory of a team, an organization, or a family. Too often, talented leaders are expected to figure everything out on their own. They have the vision and the drive, but they're carrying too much, trying to solve too many problems at once, or struggling to get others fully invested in the work. I love helping leaders step back, create clarity, focus on what matters most, and build the kind of alignment that turns vision into consistent execution. One of my favorite parts of leadership has always been developing other people. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping someone see a challenge differently, grow in confidence, and achieve outcomes they weren't sure were possible. Coaching gives me the opportunity to partner with leaders as they build stronger teams, make better decisions, and create lasting impact for the people they serve.
Work Experience
Head of Schools
KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools
July 2022 - Present
Interviewer
In 2022, I was promoted to Head of Schools, setting strategic vision for multiple schools within a district comprised of 8 elementary, middle, and high schools serving more than 2,000 students. I serve as a member of the regional leadership team, making decisions for the district while optimizing the satisfaction and performance of 200+ team members. As part of this effort, I design and manage professional development activities for leaders in the district, including hosting monthly workshops focused on building stakeholder engagement while cultivating a culture of belonging. I regularly coach leaders in strategic planning and management in order to ensure a successful school year, including identifying and correcting performance gaps during the year to maximize academic outcomes. Additionally, I define and implement strategies to enhance performance across the district, including overseeing turnaround efforts for key KPIs such as stakeholder engagement, teacher satisfaction, and staff retention. I also lead projects/initiatives focused on improving academic outcomes among students of varying skills/ages.
Principal Mentor
KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools
July 2020 - July 2022
During this time, I was engaged to mentor/coach three principals in professional development and academic advancement, including advising leaders in addressing performance gaps and driving successful educational outcomes for various schools. To accomplish our goals, I gathered and analyzed feedback from various sources to develop coaching and mentoring strategies that incorporated best practices and process improvements to enhance student outcomes and school performance. I also designed tools and strategies to cultivate leadership skills and capabilities while advancing professional growth.
School Principal
KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools
July 2017 - July 2022
Having advanced through positions of increasing scope and accountability to serve as school principal, I defined short and long-term priorities based on data analysis, district goals, and stakeholder relations. I astutely collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the school met the needs of the students, families, and community while advancing student progress and success. As a people manager, I evaluated teacher feedback to define solutions that created a positive workplace and learning environment, leading to improvements in employee satisfaction and retention. I also utilized data analytics to develop tactics and strategies to drive improvements in overall team performance. During this time, I represented the school in the KIPP Philadelphia’s “Crucial Conversations” webinar series during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitating conversations on how to optimize learning in virtual and hybrid environments. I also coordinated the logistics and operational aspects of school shutdown, virtual learning, return-to-work, and hybrid learning environments, including staff scheduling, technology management, and communications.
