About Imran
Hi, I’m Imran. I’m a reapplicant who will be starting at Harvard Business School this fall. I’ve worked in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, and also founded a startup, applying to accelerators along the way. It hasn’t always been a straight path but that’s helped me support others with a wide range of backgrounds and goals. I’ve helped people land offers in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, and venture capital, and gain admission to M7 MBA programs including non-traditional candidates, reapplicants, and career switchers. I focus on helping you tell your story clearly, prepare intentionally, and show up as your best (and real) self.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how isolating and confusing these paths can feel when you don’t have the right support. I was the first in my family to go to college and didn’t grow up around people who worked in finance or had MBAs. Every step from breaking into investment banking to reapplying to HBS came with uncertainty, rejection, and hard-won lessons. I had to figure a lot of it out the long way. What made the difference for me were the people who took the time to mentor me—people who shared their playbooks, reviewed my story, and gave honest feedback when I needed it most. Coaching is my way of paying that forward. Whether you're feeling stuck, unsure, or just want someone in your corner who gets it, I’m here to help you move with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
