I’d be a strong investment banking coach because I’ve gone through the process successfully and I’ve already taught the exact skills candidates need to win offers. I interned in Bank of America’s TMT investment banking group and earned a return offer, doing real analyst work like building comps/valuation materials, preparing client books, and supporting live deal execution (including a $200mm+ debt financing and a special committee take-private engagement). I also have prior IB experience at Tarpan Partners where I built models, produced market research, and drafted CIMs/teasers across multiple engagements. On the coaching side, I led and mentored a team of 7 analysts at Georgetown’s investing groups—teaching modeling and valuation and creating pitch standards/templates—so I know how to break complex concepts into a repeatable, step-by-step system that actually sticks. Beyond that, I’ve trained an additional three clients one-on-one and helped each of them break into name-brand investment banks, so I understand what works across different backgrounds and starting points. I’ve also developed my own networking methodology—complete with a structured outreach template, plug-and-play email scripts, and a tracking system—to make networking consistent, scalable, and actually effective. On the interview side, I’ve built a full technical + behavioral prep process, including question banks, frameworks, and mock interview formats that target the exact patterns banks test for. Finally, my finance + operations & analytics background (3.95 GPA) plus heavy Excel/PowerPoint and data-platform reps means I can coach both the “story” (networking, positioning, interviews) and the “substance” (technical prep, modeling, deliverables) with the same rigor banks expect.
